Another reason why it wouldn't work is that TES has a long tradition of interiors being larger than the exteriors. If your idea was made into a mod then almost everything in the game would have to be remade.

Righr. It was just one of my annoyances that caves in Skyrim have man-sized holes in the ceiling with light shining through, but you could never find these holes outside. It's a weird idea, but I love immersion, and Scamp's right; a good computer would solve this as well.
But now we're off topic. :P

In all honesty the thread should be renamed to The Lexicon's Long List of Questions. :P

Haha, yeah, I was thinking of having this renamed. Though maybe something like "TheLexicon's Long List of Suggestions", or "TheLexicon's Long List of Proposals", or maybe even "The Everlasting List of TheLexicon's Thoughts".
But yours could work, too.

As far as your issues with the caverns in Skyrim not having holes above ground, this mod is trying to fix that.

depends on the ruin. some will be small. And if someone gets a grand inspiration and goes WWWAAAAYYYYYYY overboard. It'll be a huge one...can see that happening

Yeah. Wish I could help, but no computer.....:(
What kind of quests will there be? Will there be quests going back into Cyrodiil's history, lore and customs? Will the flora be the same as in Oblivion? What kind of fauna do you plan on adding? How in-depth will the faction quests be? What kind of factions will there be other than the standard Fighter, Mage, Theif, and Asssassin Guilds? What about the people of the Imperial City? Will there be a kind of family rivalry like the Battle-Born/Grey-Mane rivalry in Skyrim? Will there be major cities added in other than Sutch, Stirk and Mir Corrup? Will the small villages put in Oblivion be more fleshed out in this mod? What about apparel, will there be new armors/clothing?

No new cities other than the ones you've already mentioned. As to villages, have you not seen the pictures of Brina Cross?

I haven't until now. Man, that looks good. Looking through all the pictures, I thought tha this had to be Oblivion's graphics engine.
Are you sure this is Morrowind's game? Great job!
Now I kinda wanna play, though having no computer kinda puts a stop to that. :(
Ah, well. I'll soon have Skyrim DLC.

I'm kind of hoping that the individual DLC might come on sale when the GOTY version comes out. Probably not, but one can dream right? It'll end up on sale soon enough even if not.

There's plenty of room for those surely, we just forgot about them :P

Caer Suvio would be somewhere east of Cheydinhal I assume; not sure where Artemon should be.

A few more Toponyms from the 2920 series: Wroth Naga, Thurzo Fortress, Kavas Rim Pass

Yeah, I play Skyrim/Oblivion on PS3.
Maybe I'll rebuy them for my new computer, but probably not for a while, as buying a playing Morrowind is my top priority, and I'll probably get into Daggerfall after that.

By the way, thanks for changing the name of the thread! Fits the discussion! :)
