Olay, maybe there shouldn't be a gun, steam-gun-like-the-Centurions-from-Skyrim or not.
But my Vaermina questline idea for MG was good, right?

We already have some plans in that regard and all I can say is it doesn't involve the Mage's Guild.

We have an overarching questline for the MG and a questline for Bruma MG. But they're in the exclusive modders only section of the board.

If you have a copy of Morrowind (even if you haven't played it) for PC and know your way around software like the Oblivion Construction Set GECK or possibly the Creation Kit (haven't used the latter personally) you shouldn't have too much trouble handling the Morrowind Construction Set-it's basically the same thing with not as many features.

Even if not we could still use creative individuals if you've got a knack for artwork, textures, model creation, dialog, quest concepts etc. You just need to put together a showcase to demonstrate said skills. I would still highly recommend getting Morrowind and familiarizing yourself with the Construction Set-it's not terribly difficult to learn the basics and it's one of the more intuitive modding programs out there and there are also plenty of tutorials out there if you're willing to learn.

I am, but the problem right now is that I don't have a computer right now. :(
Believe me, if I did, I'd be playing the crap outta Morrowind right now.
But I am pretty good with coming up with ideas. I think. It's my personal opinion, doubtfully one shared by other people.
I would *really* love to help, but I don't know if having a dude typing random thoughts for quests on his iPod would be useful to you.
But I intend to play and learn Morrowind, and then move on to the CS.

Oblivion CS, yes. Creation Kit, not so much. Feels very different and is hard to get used to if you're more familiar with the MW CS.

Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

Well, as you said. Not to be mean. But you don't have a computer. Have not played the game. Are not very familiar with the lore. Have never even seen, much less used the cs. And admit you have no knowledge whatsoever of anything you say you want to do.

I can't see how you can help with any work right now. But we listen to any ideas. If you want to throw out ideas. Do so.

But unitl you get real experience there is no actual work for the mod that you can do from a phone/pad.

Like i said you can post quest ideas and put up concept art if you want.

You have to have a computer and the game to mod it...

What he says, and please explain your reasoning behind why you think you can help given what he just said.

Yeah, you're right.
I came up with a landscape design.
The Great Crossroads. Somewhere, maybe the big circle of roads around the Imperial City, one can find a road to any city in Tamriel.
Don't have much time to explain it here.

:scamp:

To be fair, that's sounds rather weird and illogical. Maybe when you explain it in detail it will make more sense to me.

While there is only limited space to create roads around the Imperial City, road signs could point you to some larger cities beyond Cyrodiils border. Let's say the road that leads to Cheydinhal will also point you to Kragenmoore.

Edit: Maybe Lexicon actually means that there could be many many roads around the imperial city leading to numerous places while not necessarily each town in Tamriel.

How on earth did I not saw this topic earlier?!

TheLexicon wrote:1. Will there be any music added to Morrowind by this project?

No, new composed music will only be added to the province of Cyrodiil.

TheLexicon wrote:2. Will some of the music be re-makes of the music in Oblivion? Some stuff like piano arrangements of Wings of Kynareth or maybe some original music put into the areas around Stirk, Sutch, etc.

No, the new composed music will be totally new and will not contain arrangements or remixes of the previous Oblivion music composed by Jeremy Soule.

Saying that, I finished the Ayleid music a while ago and I'm almost finished with the battle music. After that I will begin to polish and maybe remake some parts of the explore tracks.

I'm not sure we'd add any additional roads but the idea of having road signs is possibly acceptable. I think the ring around the Imperial City already serves a bit of the purpose of being a central "hub" for travel throughout Tamriel anyway.

It may be best however to handle it as an add-on or series of add-ons. That way if the player doesn't have the particular province containing those cities installed (or it isn't available yet) they wouldn't have a bunch of signs pointing to places they can't go. That said, I would want it to only be dependent on P:C because certain players might just like the touch of detail.
