Another race that might need some new heads and maybe a unique one or two are the Redguards. Stirk and Sutch especially have a large Redguard population, with Sutch being essentially a Redguard town.

The fotos are great. I feel scared when I imagining the first guy on the left actually moving his mouth ingame. And even the best grandma's have a fresh voice in Morrowind.

I seriously think they are qualitatively good, I'm only worried how they are going to blend in with the rest of the game, but we'll see.

They do look incongruous with the lowres MW faces. On IRC, it was proposed that the mod come bundled with them at the standard MW resolution (128, iirc), so that they match the vanilla game, but that the high res faces be available as a separate download for people who use high res textures in their game.

I'd do it the other way around, use high res versions and offer low if they're really that bothered by em.

Why you would even bother when everything else you're going to make is going to be glaringly higher quality with anything vanilla-like, idk.
The heads aren't to my taste, photo faces creep me out unless painted over or something, but the others like them so it's no biggy. Just an idea for an 'improvement' (though that's up to opinion).

All our stuff is higher res than vanilla, so it makes sense that the heads would be as well. Given that the vast majority of people using this mod will probably use some form of head mod as well, it's unlikely to be a problem.

Those heads are good, but I would limit the number of very elderly-looking faces to 1 or 2 for each sex. I doubt we're going to use them very often.

What is the resolution of better heads?

Vanilla: 128(h)*256(w) - vanilla is mapped differently than Better Heads.
Better Heads: 256*256
Mine: 512*512

Here's a comparison. Going down to BH resolution is virtually lossless, but vanilla size does show some pixelation.

I'd say go with BH res then, it's fairly standard anyway and won't look out of place with higher res (minus the extreme stuff, but that always looks out of place anyway).

Here are in-CS pictures of the currently finished heads. I had forgotten how atrocious MW hair is.

Ya know, the middle guy in the bottom pic looks kinda like Locke from Lost.
Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

The faces are good, but they really don't go with the hair. New better quality hair is a must if we're gonna use those faces.

We'll definitely need new hair, but we were planning that anyway. The faces are good, though I personally would prefer it if they used the higher-res textures; they do look a bit blotchy in those close-up shots.

Here's a try at hair. I tried to stick to a Morrowindish look, not full on alpha mapped individual hair strands everywhere.

Yes, that is a much better way to do hair to fit this game. I like it very much as a start. I really like the style you went with too.

I also very much like the style, and I agree about not needing highly-detailed meshes with individual strands of hair and the like. However, I have to be honest: I think that's a little too close to the vanilla styles. A new texture would help a lot, but the hairline at the front is too sharp and could do with an alpha map to help it 'blend' a bit better. (Sorry if I sound overly critical - I don't mean to be, but I use face/hair replacers like Westly's and VV, and that hair just wouldn't fit in with my game. If we're going to have largely photo-realistic faces, we should probably have hair to match.)
