Meh. It's a free forum. Can't afford, nor can I be arsed to set up a new phpbb3 forum like I did for SHOTN. Maybe one day.

Are we planning to use all the city-state names in TESI Arena's "Cyrodiil" in our TESIII Cyrodiil so that it is lore-correct with the first game of the series?

What cities?

There's only the Imperial City in TES:Arena's Cyrodiil.

Oh my bad, I had only got up to the 3rd staff of chaos search. I thought that eventuallty you would be sent to the Imperial Province and new city names would pop up.
Even in the Daggerfall map, it's called Imperial Province and not Cyrodiil. I think Cyrodiil was invented during the TESIII design phases.

eheh ;)

Yeah, the new (not generic fantasy) lore began a little before Morrowind, with Redguard. With it was released the 1st PGE and a map with Anvil, Sutch and Kvatch marked on it.

I played Arena a couple of months ago, I found it (surprisingly) enjoyable. Obviously it's not as good as later TES games, but it has its good moments. It probably has the most balanced levelling of TES games, gameplay is always challenging, while you still feel like your character is improving. (Well... This only applies until you've found that the shield spell can make you a god, but still... :P )

Ah. I found Redguard for about $30 on amazon. I emailed the seller to ascertain if all the goodies are still in it.

Arena is by far the most difficult TES game for me to play. I died about 30 times in the starter dungeon. They really cripple you if you choose a premade class like Nightblade. I couldn't wear any plate armor or use blunt weapons or steel swords.
I do like how they have prostitutes in every city in every region. 'Tis enjoyable to have the world's oldest profession in a crpg. But Daggerfall had the best prostitutes. Even the temple of Kynareth had naked women on the floor. Will we include naked women or women in small loincloth attire in P:C's Kynareth temples?

I don't think Kyrareth will have sexy priestesses.

I play a Spellsword. I can use swords and chain armor. I didn't find the starter dungeon that hard, as long as you rest whenever you need/can. Without weapons is must be harder though.

My character is now level 20 and is a beast with strength, intelligence and agility at 100 and willpower and endurance very high too. I can probably resist more damage than a warrior and I can one shot every enemy with a fire spell  (I know what I said about game and leveling balance before, but this is very very endgame :P )

TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

Well come to think of it if we had naked NPCs they'd appear to be in their underwear depending upon either whether or not the player is using BB or which version of BB they're using so it could be reasonably acceptable to do.

Sure it could. Even Bethesda has a naked NPC in the Hentus quest and I think there is a nude Nord in Mournhold. I'm not trying to make this a nudity mod or anything but do we really need to keep this project PG-rated or PG-13 rated? I don't understand the reasoning behind being so overly conservative. We can expose kids and teens to people getting their heads blown off in video games but we cannot expose them to elves in their underwear? :?

Dibella would be the best chance of having sexy priestesses, but expect brothels in all major towns in varying degrees of support and popularity.

This would be America for ya. You can blow your friend's heads off, but when it comes to getting a girl, its suddenly OMG, evil! evil! the nude body must be shamed!(I saw a bit of an article on, I think the game was called casino larry or something, that mentioned about how there is all this violence but sex is taboo)
I dont get the whole intolerance thing either. Sure, I usually like people to be clothed. Its is interesting/sad though that people are ok with war over the slightest non-provocation, but anything to do with loving is taboo and looked down upon.
Anyway, I find that plenty of people are fine if you keep things tasteful. Well, there was something else I was going to say, but it popped into my head and popped right back out.

And wolli, there are a few states that have the age set at 16, including mine.(if they are within 3 years of age of each other)

Interesting thing, I just so happen to be listening to music from a game where you could get x-ray glasses as an easter egg and watch a girl change. You might be thinking "!!!!", but you can relax as this game is from a time where graphics made it more amusing than anything else. If anyone can name this game I will be impressed.

Even give you a hint, starts with Q.
God, your first sentence says it all. I can't stand how "pussified" america is. And I live in the pussiest state in the whole country; southern California. So you can imagine the bullshit I have to endure every day just going to the store or working here at the hospital surrounded by a bunch of women. (No offense to Helena; you are cool in my book).

@SamirA, brothels (or bordello or harem, whichever) would add a great and enticing sense of realism. But like you, I would want it to be tastefully done. I've been wanting to make a Prostitutes guild for TESIII for some time now but have never got around to it. I wouldn't want a prostitutes guild to look like a 21st century whore house. I'd want it to look like the type of bordello you would find in either Rome, Greece, or some other time period which relates to the culture of the Imperials. Loincloth clothing would be appropriate but definitely not any fishnets or g-strings or pleather buckle boots. I mean, yes, thongs do look sexy on NPCs but they most definitely do not fit the atmosphere of the game at all. When I think of a brothel, I think of the ones they have in The Witcher 2. They're kinda gritty and grimey, dirty and the women may be ugly, some may be pretty, some may have missing teeth, but it looks and feels real. And I think that is the most important aspect, is how it feels and fits in the game. Wouldst thou not agree?

Those are nice and I've used them before. But perhaps we should make our own from scratch. What do you guys think?
