So far I tested out some brownish/red rugs. Thinking that the 1-4 can best be used in Poor houses and the rest in middleclass. Rich could use a more colourfull palette.

Should I aim for more basic shapes, but just with more colors?

Those flowery ones would be lovely for Nibenay - keep 'em close. I think Colovians would stick to earthy tones, ochre red and yellow, and very basic shapes. Diamonds, of course, maybe in a red-white pattern. Oh, and a couple of really dark/black rugs could come in handy.

We don't distinguish the rugs between groups, people should be able to use their best judgement on which fit where. I'd say just go ahead and add them to the list because they look great. Alternatively if it is felt that we should distinguish you could simply add an N in front of big for those three.

Last addition are oval rugs.

This concludes the list:
01-12 = Big rectangle rugs
13 - 16 = Big Oval rugs.

If nothing else is needed I'll finish up the models and set them up in the right way.

I'll just upload the file and call them done. If there is anything else needed I can add it. Also PSD and MAX files included for archiving.

Worsas or Tarius just give these a once over for any glaring mesh faults so we can get them in data.

I don't know if I'd be the right person for reviewing. I can give my opinion on how I perceive the overall fittingness of an object in the gameworld, but I create faulty stuff myself when it comes to uv-mapping and other details.

I see that these rugs naturally embed themselves very well in the gameworld by having this tan-color scheme that is so typical for morrowind.

But I also think we should additionally keep more colorful and also less dirty rugs around. I see it as one of the main designs of the province that colors can be lighter or more saturated than original game has them in some places. But these really look good nevertheless.

Let me correct myself regarding the color question. (This is not the second review)

I don't think the visual differences the modders before us have established are necessarily related to saturation. It is rather general colors that you do not get to see very much in Morrowind (as province) and also often lightness. I would not totally discard that direction.

I wouldn't really go as far as saying that a certain color scheme must be related to a certain province, though, or that we should avoid the tan colors of the original game for that matter.

This all is not really fully thought through on my part, though. I'm only noticing that we should maybe get something settled regarding the color question.

Well I took a very quick look, as expected, they are rugs. The reason I have kept silent is because they are simple. Any errors would be readily noticable.

As for clothing meshes, I have kept silent on that because I dont have any experience with that stuff, although I will say we should be making them for better bodies, not the original MW. It is only a very small percentage of players that would use this mod and be as purist to not use better bodies.(or not like them for some odd reason)
Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

They are made for BB Tarius. Also, yes I know they were just basic but I would like to at least get in the habit of giving meshes a look before adding them to data.

Someone should always do a double check for things that the modeller missed. If seen to much bad stuff in the TR data to not check. I can have missed something even on a mesh this easy. More brighter and cleaner colored rugs can also be made. I just think that the regular comoner doesn't have a very new and clean rug.
