The headwear at the lower right. We need 2-3 variants.

Granting, as in the other claim, this is three separate meshes. 01,02 and 03.

A completed model, but I'm stuck on making a good felt or leather texture. As in the other hat threads, I'm currently very busy finishing my studies.

Erm, how do I apply a texture to it? I added a NiTexturingProperty and NiMaterialProperty and it has a base texture assigned to it, but nothing shows on the model itself :?

The model itself looks stellar though Infragris. I'm really excited to see it in tandem with the leather vest (the two were always designed to go together).

Good question. I usually apply textures in blender, but honestly, I'm half illiterate in this field. I've assigned some junk textures to this model, see if you can make that work by replacing them. Also included a GND file. I worked on these objects several months ago, and have since completely forgotten what I was doing to them.

When this one is past review we'll have all of the pieces from the concept paper above. We should take a delicious mouthful of Kurst on that, when we are that far.

The plan was to have three versions of this. We can make one without the fez too. Best of both worlds.

Ended up only making 2, I looked at a version where the fez was the same kind of leather as the rest, and and didn't like it all that much. I was being totally sincere when I said I like your version way more. We do need a female version though, this version fits the male head fine but I'm having trouble making it fit both genders without looking totally goofy on one or the other. Also, please ignore the stretching over the middle "prong", it looks fine from other angles.

Progress is being made, however slow.There will be no need for a female version: I've simply edited the mesh to fit all heads (there were also issues with Orcs). I'm going to shift around the medallions and tweak the shape of the variant hat a little, so that it is not as obvious a retexture.

Question: how do you make blender export vertex painting again?

If you are using the same nif-exporter I use, you do not need to do anything, apart from obviously having vertex color on the mesh. If you are using a newer version with post 2.49 - blender, I can't tell what is needed.

Right then, should be finished. Two versions, a one with golden buttons and green cloth, one with gray buttons and reddish-brown cloth. The price/quality setup follows the example of the Colovian Fur Helmet. While we could make a third version, I don't really see the point as there is only so much variation to be had in the design. Thanks to Saint_Jiub for doing the textures!

I'll save myself the usual listing this time.

The only thing I did, was painting a subtle shade below the buttons onto the leather texture (texture paint in blender). The same kind of shade I have painted onto my leather shirt textures. The items seems to fit all races and genders just fine. No issues.

+ I have removed a needless nistencilproperty.
