I consider the first version finished. There is one detail lacking from Jiubs concept: the diamond-shaped attachments. I had something in the making for it but it did not look very good and it basically already looked good to me without. The psd still contains those elements as hidden layers, though and I may get back to them in one of the other versions.

Forgot to say how much I like this, I never considered blue for the shirt but it looks phenomenal.

I'll claim this for the other texture variants as well, I know I haven't been terribly active of late but I am slowly chugging away on this stuff :nyansheo: I'm thinking a plain white/tan shirt with the diamond patches and steel studs on the vest for one, and maybe a patterned shirt for the other. Nothing too fancy.

Also working on some concepts for female clothes and some variants for the Colovian steel armor. Brace yourselves :P

Sorry, been caught up with real life as of late. I am still interested in doing the retextures for this, probably won't be able to work on it this week but by next week I'll have something to show for my endeavors.

Guys, I have no idea for the second variant. Does anyone have ideas what I could do?

the 1st version is the studded leather shirt at the very right here:

In the worst case, I might just make a variant with a differently colored undershirt that is otherwise identic. But I cannot even think of a suitable color for that undershirt. Any ideas?

cant you use the green shirt texture from the ones next to it? I think hat will fit quite allright?

How about burgundy/maroon for the undershirt and then have the diamond pattern from the concept on the vest?

Yes, please. That looks good. Funny enough: Praedator and me yesterday came to the conclusion that the undershirt should have exactly that color, but I did not manage to create anything decent myself. I wanted to make a different vest first, but ended up frustrated after a non-successful attempt.

Of course, yes

Polycount appropriate?
yes

Does the size make sense?
Yes

Do the values of the object make sense?
under different circumstances this could be a common shirt. But it looks expensive enough, i think.

Are there icons (and groundmeshes)?
Yes

Can the item be equipt properly? Is it assigned to the correct body parts? Do certain npc-animations not cause issues?
with the female better body the arms were bleeding with the sleeves a bit. I fixed this.

Are the texture filenames correct?
yes

Are the texture dimensions apropriate?
yes

Does the dds-file use the right compression?
yes

Does the dds-file have mip maps?
yes

Are there notable holes in the mesh?
no

Are there apparent uv-stretches?
very slight ones on the female body. on the right shoulder there is a visible texture seam I have not bothered about. I would have to edit a compressed dds-file for that, which I don't want. It doesn't catch your eye.

Does the object stylistically appear fitting in the game environment?
I changed the texture and proportions of the female version to look more.. yes, female. It looks hot.
