Census and Excise characters. Something to think about Scamp.

I don't remember what we decided... was #8 guard barracks or town hall? Depending on this, we might need to include the garrison in one of these buildings, no?

I thought 3 was the town hall and 8 was the jail, which included accomodation for guards.

8 was designed as a town hall and it will remain such as it has a prominent place, however it will contain the jail as well in an underground area.

3 is upper class housing. I know there was some debate about this at one time, but I have decided that this is our best route without making further exterior changes which I do not wish to do.

I agree with Scamp that one of 39 or 40 could contain a garrison.

In other words, garrison, but no jail?

Also, I find myself in an uncomfortable position using the tower interior piece from data. First of all, it has no textures applied to it, and secondly, incorporating this circular piece into a rectangular building shape might be more trouble than it's worth. I'd rather build something octagonal with seperate floor and wall pieces. Your call.

Correct.

No, don't use that piece. I was waiting for an issue to arise before I simply removed it. Makeshifting is still the best way to do things at times.

Alright, Ill get the textures on that fixed. I will include it in the next small update when I hand stuff over in the next week.

TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

As we said Tarius, I suggest you don't bother fixing it. It's hard to work with it in these cases anyway.

Behold! It's the shell.

(Not quite finished, and very imperfect. Caspering columns and other pieces are to be expected in the Archives & Storage cell. Also missing a single window that I forgot to place and where I noticed later that I can't place it in that place with the way the shell is laid out, and I am still unwilling to change the layout)

Fire at will if there are any objections.

Good day Sirs! Double post! Pancakes!

Finished. Anyone who's willing to learn about how to extensively, yet realistically clutter your interior should take a look at this bad boy.

Feel free to replace any 'overpriced' books as you find them. I deem them appropriate in such an interior, but your mileage may vary.

Have some screens, no thumbnails today.

Good job.

Since this is one of my interiors, I was curious and checked these out once more. You were right about most things.

Keep in mind though, when you make changes such as moving pillars up on the z axis, things like this might happen:

This is a minor fix which SamirA can tackle (as I won't be finalizing my own interiors, naturally). I wasn't sure if moving objects was necessary, I always playtest my interiors extensively in order to ensure the player can walk properly in all spots.

One more thing: The scrollcase is something similar to weapons or paper rolls. While it might be logical to rotate them to simulate physics, TR doesn't have this set as a standard for reviewing. Some people prefer to do it, some don't. I wouldn't worry about it too much (interestingly, you did not fix nor mention the other scrollcase in the same room that had the same thing going on).

Btw, I am sure you missed this, so I am mentioning it again.

SamirA wrote:Note to all reviewers. When you are reviewing completed interiors prior to this update be sure to make sure you fix the windows and fireplaces. When you S&R the fireplace it will be rotated 180 degrees the wrong direction, this is an easy fix, but make sure any fireplace contents or surrounding items are not interfered with as well.

Sneaky Scamp: Also, don't forget to replace the small vanilla chests with our own ones!!

These things can be addressed while finalizing the interiors you reviewed. Remember it next time, though.

And keep up the good work, anyway!

ah

Thanks Scamp for pointing that out.
I will be cautious with those pillars in the future.

About the scrollcases: it was not noticeable in-game that it was floating an inch or so. Maybe I was just nitpicking...

No worries.

It's actually better to be nitpicky than to let everything slide.
