You build the interior. If you think a chest or door should be locked then you should lock it.

The only locks I leave up for NPCing are the ones that include keys needed to be added to their inventories. It's not a big deal though

alright. almost got the center done. just a couple bookshelves left. And have finished revamp of right wing. Due to the fact i wanted to leave the base layout more or less intact. It is almost as bad architecturally as the left wing. But i think it'll be alright. As it is nowhere's near as bad as wolverine hall. It has guest rooms, a kitchen, and servants cubby. Throwing up a file for look-see.

an update for npc's. there 4 beds for kitchen staff. 8 for guards. a room for the gardener. a room setup for a wizard/battlemage adviser. one i think should be for an amanuensis for pillious. And only one guest room. It's a show mansion. that'd explain why he quarters his other guests at the safe harbor inn. guards housed in left wing. the rest in the right wing. Big boy gets the center to himself.

i really need baskets of stirk food, and barrels of apples in the next data so i can finish the kitchen. Also the shell i inherited has a couple of chimneys. but the exterior has none. do they stay?

Chimneys can be added. It is up to you. Keep them if you like them, but if you have other ideas then get rid of them.

Also you simply mean containers with those items included? I'll get on that.

they are fine and i have already worked around them. that is just why i was asking. they'd leave a hole in the layout if they were took out now. And yes i mean containers with that in them. thanks

Is it pushed into the wall? If not do so and keep it yes, nice makeshift right there.

By into the wall I mean not sitting out in front of it too far.

The latest data doesn't have differing food containers. And I was thinking the strongroom/treasury should have a ledger in it. Should i go ahead and set these up. Or wait for you to get them into the data.

If you just mean adding in containers with different food items that already exist/leveled lists then you can make them already. Then I simply merge the container bits into the data.esm file and they will be available for everyone. I have held off on doing so for someone else's containers simply because they are using items that don't yet exist in proper form (ale and beer) and so i won't add them just to change them again.

Okay! This one is finally done. Three cells and just shy of 2,000 statics total. Original shell used. fireplaces and windows left as is.

Left wing. Large formal dining hall with lounge up above. Guard room for 8 guards. Treasury room above. Guards use lounge for eating area when there is no Feast.

Center wing. Left his large Plant hall alone. top floor is bath, office, and the headman's room. he has a wetbar in it among other junk. Did a bit of changing of the shell by switching out pieces used to close real bad gaps in the cieling beams. Which caused some problems with the pillars which i covered up. And added lights to the thing.

Right wing. kitchen with new containers for merging. add a couple new leveled lists for those containers as well. so they will be random. Small sleeping quarters for kitchen staff off of kitchen. Tight quarters for them.
A room set up for wizard adviser above kitchen. Two more guest rooms. One that should be set aside for another servant.(earlier post) with a small lounge type room for those quarters on upper floor as well. And a reading room and quarters for the gardener on first floor. Staying with the original shell. But adding rooms means this wing is not the most easily navigable area. But beth did worse. And since this is a show mansion. I think it is cool.

Anyway's I think it looks cool. And it is a very complicated set piece a whole lot can go on in.

May the nine have mercy on the reviewer.

Re: Stirk Interior Claim PC_i1-1 [REVIEWING]

Postby SamirA » 06 Jul 2012, 04:40

Just gave this a look and I must say well done. I didn't check for errors or anything like that, but the style here is fantastic. Extremely well thought out. I love how the left wing turned into a sort of Great Hall. I can just see the feasts held here. The little things like how you laid out the table in the kitchen with cookies and bread along with the raw ingredients and tools used to make the items is great.

I am thoroughly impressed. You also managed to seemlesly integrate the central part that Andres made into the end product. This is a very fitting interior.

Well done.

Review time!

Overall:

-replaced windows
-renamed cells slightly in order to match them with our existing interiors
-replaced fireplaces
-adjusted all northmarkers by 0.2 degrees (I took the exterior shell rotation this time around!)
-renamed custom objects

PC_i1-1, center:

-PC_In_Str_Window_01 didn't touch the wall
-PC_In_Str_pillar_w was caspering (x6)
-there were a couple of flora bleeders in that atrium, though honestly neither can anyone be arsed to report this kind of stuff, nor is it really simple to avoid having any kinds of bleeders in there. I left it as is
-PC_In_Str_room_entry was caspering
-misc_com_redware_vase was bleeding
-com_closet_01_expclothe was floating (watch out! you need to 'f' it twice)
-misc_com_bucket_01 as bleeding
-minor adjustments (x2)

PC_i1-1, right wing:

-PC_Ex_Str_Window_01 didn't touch the wall (x8)
-PC_In_Str_pillar_w was caspering (x22)
-misc_com_wood_spoon_01 was bleeding
-was misc_de_bellows10 bleeding? I left it the way it was, might've been intended.
-misc_com_wood_spoon_02 as bleeding
-misc_imp_silverware_plate_02 didn't touch the back of the bookshelf (x2)
-PC_In_Str_room_side was caspering
-in_c_door_wood_square: you could see the void through some gaps
-com_closet_01_empty was floating
-PC_bk_travellersguidetoempirev1 was floating
-misc_com_silverware_fork was floating
-com_closet_01_expclothe was floating (x2)
-minor adjustments (x4)

PC_i1-1, left wing:

-PC_Ex_Str_Window_01 didn't touch the wall (x10)
-PC_In_Str_pillar_w was caspering (x4)
-PC_In_Str_room_side was caspering
-light_com_candle_10_64 was floating (x2)
-minor adjustments (x1)

Can't say I liked the pillars between tables in the main hall. Other than that, this interior was fantastic work. I agree with SamirA that this was, stylistically, very well done.

There were a lot of annoying errors regarding this one pillar with the wooden beams. Other than that, pretty few errors overall. Here's to many more great Stirk interiors!
