Stirk Interior Claim PC_i1-1 [Final]

Postby SamirA » 26 Mar 2012, 23:04

Pilious Manor
Exterior Location: #1 on this map

The manor of Victus Pilious, the defacto owner of Stirk. Should be as grand as possible.

Use Andres' latest WIP.

Sure.

I assume there are threads I need to climb through and that we have the pieces required to make the spiffiness happen? Spiffiness obviously meaning pieces that allow for indoor gardens and higher halls in the default manner that were first started in Narsis, I believe?

From the current list, this claim looks to be acceptable.

EDIT: Slight oversight in the exterior. The wings of the building are not attached to eachother or the main building, ending up with 5 buildings, two of which have no entrances.

.2 - Me and my edits, anyway, do we have agreed upon interior lighting settings anywhere?
Best wishes,
Lord Andres Indoril the Mad.

I'll post up basic Stirk lighting settings for you in just a bit. As for the wings I brought this to Scamps attention so it may already be corrected, but I can't say for sure, we do have the pieces for an easy connection there.

As for the pieces for making taller ceilings I don't believe we do, but wolli can make what you need if you ask, or if it is a piece found in TR's com expansion then we can grab it and make the alterations of texture (in fact i do believe we already have the TR com stuff just not textured for Stirk, use them as placeholders if you need to).

Baahh, everyone knows it's one building. I am fixing it already, but you should have guessed it's not 5 different buildings.

There should probably be rooms for Pilious' personal guards and servants somewhere in this manor.

The wings would be very difficult to fill if there were not.

Here is something you can try to pull off.

Make it so that the servants and guards have their own entrance, hallways and work areas. You would have the main hall area and dining and all these rooms and such, but the servants would never pass through them unless they were cleaning, serving food, etc. It would be like a hidden world almost. Actual larger roman houses/villas were sorta like this.
My idea is that someone as Pillious(I never remember the spelling) would never want to have to directly deal with any lower classes unless he had to. The opposite side to this is that perhaps he likes to personally oversee everything that happens and everything is quite intergrated to achieve such a thing.

Initiate Order 666.
Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

At the current state, I do have one wing set off as servants quarter and kitchen on the lower floor and dining room and lounge on the second. The other wing has architectural nightmares and guards room and the room of an advisor or gardener. I always make a separate room for gardeners when I make these ridiculously large gardens... Well, the central room has the first two floors taken up by the garden and the last room as space for Pilious' private study and bedroom and whatever else I can fit in the 4x5+3 space.

Curiosity demands, how many servants and guards should I go with? If the amount is small, I could probably manage to divide the servants quarters by two and fit the guards there as well. Though, being the personal guard, they might like to have their own section down in the western wing.

Use your own inclinations for that Andres. It shouldn't be an overly large amount of servants and guards, but Pilious is a very wealthy man, so he could afford more than a few. Basically, I leave it to you on how you wish to design the interior.

Some small update has been done to the WIP file in the last post of the previous page.

Don't remember exactly what, but when SamirA tells people to use my WIP file as a guide, I have got to be ready.

EDIT due to this post starting a new page. :P

See, I still managed to get another WIP from you and I didn't have to directly ask.

I amaze myself sometimes. ;)

Well, you do have my apologies concerning this, but I would like this to be revoked. I am not really interested in Cyrodiil and am taking my leave for now.

The old WIP links should give you my most recent file. Farewell.
