Alright, claim includes:

M1 +M2
N1 +N2
O1 +O2
P1 +P2

Exterior is finished. I still want to go over the entire area again adding detail where I see it needed and take the final screenshots. Expect the file at the weekend so we can start working on interiors soon.

Here we go.

Please tell me about stuff. Chapel is still missing, but we can do that later.

:nyansheo:

And seriously, look at or play this with grass enabled. It's worth it, and fixing all the bleeding grass probably took me more time than making the rest of the island.

So is it decided what each building represents? We need different areas of housing, shops, etc. After a quick look in the CS, I'd suggest the following:

1-7: Upper-class housing.
8-12: Shops and services.
13-25: Lower-class housing (several families per building, overcrowded conditions).
26-35: Middle-class housing, more shops and services.

Suggestions for particular buildings:
1: Victus Pilious' manor, obviously.
9: Upper-class hotel.
19: Lower-class inn.
36: Geval Ugenring's house? (The former mayor.)
37: Helvor family mansion?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention we should start thinking about purposes.

Alright, those sound pretty decent. However, I think it was planned that 22-25 are shops, so that is to be left that way in my opinion. SamirA had several purposes for buildings on the original claim map so he might as well tell us again what those were so we can think of more.
I highly agree on 26-35 being the middle-class houses, and 1-7 being upper-class buildings.
I'd say 9-12 + 22-25 should be shops and the like, and the rest being lower-class buildings.
It's especially important to get the shops figured so that I can place some more stuff outside like the signs and anvils/etc so that you can easily recognize what's inside.

Thanks for the suggestions, anyway ;)

I put down 22-25 as lower-class homes because they're closest to the docks, where the fishermen work. To my mind the shops should be more central, but I'll let SamirA decide.

Walk in. A small paved road is in front of you and at the end of it are stairs that lead to the second level of the city. Ropes are strung from one building to the next, some drying clothes, others with worn welcoming banners.

To your immediate right street vendors sell souvenirs, men in bloodied aprons mercilessly gut fish and throw them in baskets where a few women are waiting to carry them into the shops or down to the warehouse. These men work under awnings that jut from mobile wooden workstations or that are connected to the shops that are behind them. Of the shops on the right, the first shop closest to the gate has a ladder going up the side of it to the second floor where the room is surrounded with structural arches and more small shops sell to those looking. The floor is rented to the merchants and some areas to painters, artists, and musicians.

It's just what ZackG seemed to have in mind. I agree that SamirA should decide.

22-25 shops? That sounds like overkill. Just what kind of shops would you have?

TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)

The numbers refer to the labels on the claim map.

One of the houses needs to belong to the Eccentric Alchemist (I don't think like looking up his name), although it doesn't necessarily have to be too large since from what I remember we planned on having his "garden" underground.

i couldn't walk around the dock either, i'd delete some crates, and perhaps we can see about making a collision-thing for the meshes, though i don't know how to do that.

and i couldn't walk through ZackG's gate either, though selecting the vertices in that area and stretching them on an axis would fix it, if you want me to do that.

seams and bugs: (just pointing them out ;) )

Sorry, but I can walk perfectly through it. If you feel like it should be fixed, then fix it.

I think it's bloody obvious that the chapel will hide this seam, Wolli. So I didn't see why I would fix it.

We've got a really huge problem if we consider that an error, I do it all the time.

If you are able to fix this rough terrain, then I shall consider you the best exterior modder I have seen. I can't.

This is a certain artistic stylistic device that I chose here, and the absence of an arrow is part of the effect.

Thanks for the reports though :maiq:

The real question is who would waste a perfectly good arrow by leaving it there.

Anyway, do you really think the skeleton would sit on a boat like that if they had shot him? Of course the skeleton is a warning.

Like I said in the chatbox I'm pretty sure the problem I had walking on the docks was due to the PC_Ex_Str_Entrance. There's an "invisible wall" that doesn't let you get close. After I removed those door-frames, I could walk fine, those barrels and crates didn't bother me.

I'm having problems with the gate as well. I can get through it, but with difficulty.

On a completly unrelated note, my FPS drops to around 2 or 3 in the town itself. *sigh* I need a new computer.

no one told me about a chapel, so it's not that obvious to me :/

eh, it just looks odd imo, you can keep it though.

i'll try.

*confused look* reads next posts... ah ok, warning.. i was just like "how the hell did the dude die?" and my brother sitting next to me went "old age?".. so we just found it weird. keep it though.

That's bad. We should really come up with system requirements then D: The FaQ says somthing weird about them being about the same as for Morrowind, which is hardly possible.
