wolli wins via having an aylied ruin.

Technically nothing is actually ruined yet, just run down. It wont be ruined until I start chopping chunks out of the meshes and reUVing them. I have already started with the bridge.
Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

From that distance those two parts look as if they had been made by the same person.. But wolli, did you really make the upper part?

Nice...

Looking at this shot I wonder how many game units this is going vertically... not intending to sound like a lore-nazi or something, but if already the gold coast surpasses most of the mountains we are going to have in Skyrim (~12.000 units) I'm worried about how the provinces are going to look next to each other, also about the unique-ness of any highland-terrain next to an excessively vertical gold coast.

The best would be, imo, if SGMonkeys whole heightmapped got multiplied by 2/3 so the highest altitudes end at about 20.000 instead of 32.000 (High Hrothgar is going to be about 25.000) whereas just decreasing the biggest heights would rather screw the overall picture and waste the effort he's put into creating a coherent overall picture.

Of course such a thing should happen without screwing the finished exteriors aswell...

We indeed should probably lower most of the land in Cyrodiil a bit. I thought Scamp was meaning to do that. We will get is sorted though.

Agreed, we will need to make some adjustments to the heightmap when Scamp is available.

Beyond that... well the bit of the gold coast you have completed looks marvelous. But it is about as rocky as something can become aswell. How are you going to surpass that if you intent to create actually mountainous land later on?

Just a little objection about the overall-design. Seeing that the gold coast is going to consist of several sub-regions..., you might decide upon leaving the finished land as some kind of rocky and more hilly subregion ala "Goldcoast, Western Abyssm" or something like that.

Perhaps its not my cup and I am not the one to decide anything nor am I intending to piss against anybodys carwheel...

You don't have to worry about upsetting anyone Worsas. Everyone has the right to voice their opinions. I would like to see some larger extended grass land areas in the GC as well. In the inner regions of the GC there will be more trees and things that should open it up for less rocks.

Uups. I was thinking about telling modders to flatten their land a bit because it goes up waay too high in the landmass. My bad.
Wolli, you can leave it like that for now, your claim can serve as a cliffy area thing. In the next claim descriptions I will mention that the land should be as flat as in my concept file.

@Worsas: The Gold is a lush and mostly rocky region. I can see what you are concerned about; However, I am thinking that the rockiness isn't that much of a problem here, it's mostly small rocks anyway.
I want to have less rocks in the northern parts of the Gold Coast along with other flora types, I think it is indeed a good idea to have different names for different parts of the region.

--- SamirA just posted while I wanted to submit, yes, larger grass land areas to the north. I will try some things out there.

Yeah, I knew you had that idea Scamp. We certainly will need to start flattening it out in other claims but I agree wolli's little cliff area is nice.

thanks guys, and i have been sorta flattening this place, and then adding those "cliffy" out crop places, so it has smooth parts like in scamps area, but also a few rocky parts like the big cliff he also has, so.. well, you see what i mean in a couple of days.
