I like that design alot, do you have our Anvil textures planned for this? It would probably be best if those are what is used here, similar to how Stirk is.

This is probably more a style issue, but I do not like all the arches.

As for textures, as long as they are in the same style as the buildings they should be fine.

TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

Arches fit the Roman theme... they should be a fairly prominent piece in most of our Colovian sets, in fact it would be lovely if someone were to create some atrium pieces for the Anvil set so that we can further distinguish it from Stirk and Romanize it a bit in the wealthier districts.

Wolli, besides the pieces I've already shown, what other wall meshes would fit what you are trying to do?

Good question, actually. Shame i can't think of any real answers. XD

A fountain that fits onto them and matches the style would be good. Something like the vivec fountain pieces. Although it's not really a "wall" piece it would just help to set the theme. But i could always retexture some other meshes if you feels it's too minimal.

A raised one would be good. Something i could put between the two towers that people would pass under when entering Anvil through the main gate. I could just retexture the walkway in Strik, but a walk way that matches the walls would be pretty damn useful. (although it doesn't have to be a WALKway, just a WALKUNDERway.

but otherwise those walls are perfect, and nice a sleek - perfect for Anvil. :D

The latter should be fairly easy.

As far as the first one, I cant picture in my head exactly what you mean. If you could send me a rough sketch thatd help.

When do you need these to begin work?

I'm house sitting at the moment and getting Solstheim out the door. So i'll be ready if you're ready in a week. Though i don't mind if you take a little longer. :P

does this count as a "draft"? being on holiday i don't have my bamboo tablet. :P It's paint or nothing.

:uhhuh:

you might have to come up with your own theme.

That works. I can make that fairly easily. It will come out from the wall though. modular piece.

The models requested are made and uv mapping is nearly done. A few new textures were required but I used the current textures to make sure they all matched and looked nice. Just needed something to keep the elegance of the wall up.

Id guess that these will be done mid to late next week. All thats left is that uv mapping and creating the backside of the models. If needed or if you just want to get started earlier Wolli let me know and Ill upload temp files you can use and then send the finished models after.

I say the edges on the arches needs increasing by 1-3 so they are smooth.

Brilliant. Can't wait to start now.

Just somethings:

to me, the brown inner texture feels a bit to dark, perhaps it could be more beige?

There's a UV error on the tower pillars, you've probably (99.9% sure) seen it already, thought I'd just point it out before anyone else does.

Those are mighty pretty! I'm glad they are so much larger than the Stirk walls. Really lets you know that you are entering a major port city rather than a large town like Stirk.
