My Steam Library

Postby DJGamer » 15 Feb 2011, 22:53

Feel free to either comment on my Steam Library or share you own Steam Libraries.

Steam Library Image (Updated October 3rd 2011)

I'll occasionally update the library image, but probably most often if there's a big sale like the recent big summer sale or of course the winter sale. I'm planning on eventually also posting a screenshot of my much smaller GOG.com library as well.

You can also check out this text-based list of my games which I'll be trying to update more frequently as it obviously takes much less work than making the screenshot:

According to my Steam Profile I currently own 202 games on their service, though this may include things with multiple episodes. To clarify-my policy on episodic content is basically this:

-If they can be purchased separately, such as Half-Life 2: Eps One & Two or On The Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness, they count as separate games.

-If they can only be bought as a bundle, such as Back to the Future: The Game or Tales of Monkey Island they count as one game.

-If it's a set of games that can only be bought as a bundle on Steam but are clearly separate games I obviously count them as separate games: I.E. Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World.

-I exclude things such as Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Multiplayer and Team Fortress 2 Beta.

-I also exclude the weird duplicates I seem to have of the Civilization IV games which you may notice in my Steam Library screen capture.

Another thing I should note is that I tried to set up most of the franchise games so that they're together and listed by order of release rather than strictly alphabetical-this may not be the case for everything on the list quite yet but I'm getting there.

According to Notepad ++ I have 150 games on my list. According to my calculations I have 165 items in the screenshot. I can only guess that the game count on my profile includes DLC or something.

If you want to see a more thorough list of nearly all the games I own you can check out a similar thread on my website here.

I may update this list once again in the near future. Once I get a full time job the library might expand yet further still-though I may still wait for sales to happen.

He would obviously have that on disk.
Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

I own physical copies of Oblivion and Morrowind GotY-I've never seen any reason to buy them again on Steam, although with how often I end up losing track of discs it might be worth it if they ever go on sale again. lol

I never got into those games and the only reason I got Thief was because it was on sale and it's part of a series started by the creator of Deus Ex. I'm not all that much into stealth games usually. I consider myself to be sort of a mixture of a hardcore and casual gamer-my passion for video games is hardcore but the difficulty levels I tend to play at are a bit more casual.

Maybe if I ever find it on sale. Might try a demo on XBox perhaps. I've pretty much spent all the money I'll have this month already.

You are very obviously missing The Witcher 1+2, Dead Space 1+2, Bulletstorm and Crysis 1+2. Those games are awesome.

If you look at my complete Game Library post on my forums

I've got the first Crysis on disc, and Ocarina of Time as part of the Zelda Collector's Edition disc for Gamecube (If it's not on the list I'll add it). I have a physical copy of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and I'm very sure that's on the list too.

Knights of the Old Republic 2: They haven't released it on Steam yet, though I might get a physical copy of the game at some point.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood: I might get that during the next big Steam sale. I haven't played the first two yet and I want to be sure I'll like it first.

The Witcher 2: I haven't played much of the first game at all, even though I've had it forever. There's only so much space on my hard drive and so much time in a day. I REALLY want to play at least a little of the original before I even think of getting the seuquel.

Crysis 2: I've played a bit more of it than Witcher but I'm really going to wait on getting this one until the price drops or there's a sale.

Dead Space: Maybe if it's on sale at some point. I did like the demo for the on-rails shooter for the Playstation Move.

Bulletstorm: Played the demo, liked it alright but not enough to pay full price.

I'm trying to save my money for the Skyrim Collector's Edition so it may be awhile before I get anything else.

My birthday's coming up, though-so feel free to gift me these games on Steam. :P
