Looks cool. Now all we need is sombody to make the birdy that came from. You thinks Archmaestro Anteres would be interested?

I think the feathers on the chest need to come out a little, or add some on top. They look far too flat.

Whilst Abot is floating around, his fish and birds should be discussed somewhere separately. I'd like to have our own birds and fish, but be completely compatible with his mod too.

I'll make a thread.

Another small update:

The feathers on the pauldrons will cause some clipping, but I think there is not really another way. Except for maybe straight feathers that point outwards. Not sure if I like that so much. Again still copy paste texturing. Say what you like dislike and I'll try to incorporate as much as I can. Going to start on the skirt and boots to finish the basic geometry off.

I'd say in general just a bit more feather coverage, though with the pauldrons on this is less apparent than it was before.

You do mean on the chest right? If so, yes I also think it could use more feather coverage. First going to texture them and after that I'll start adding them on the models. The feathers that I used now are not really matching the concept art anyway...

Well you could always move the feathers down some to help avoid clipping.

The problem as of now, I think, is that the "corset" in the concept art should come all the way up to the sternum, and the fur is supposed to be a base layer over which the armor plates are laid. It's also supposed to look more like ribs or something, as opposed to a solid piece. I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but it seems to me like the core concept is somewhat getting lost right now- I approve of the decision to make it look like bone, but I think the design, with the wing/feather motifs and the graceful lines of the armor, should be preserved as much as possible. This just doesn't really feel like an elven armor to me at the moment.

I didn't do the textures yet. That is just a swift copy paste. I'm finalizing the geometry first so I can uv-map all the pieces together for efficiency. I can however extend the bottom part to link with the upper bone part. Here is an in-game look:

Yea, get the geometry done first. Looks like its coming along fine so far though. Those are pretty good for stand in textures.

Here is a small update on the cuirass. Bigger bone parts and the rib-like stuff.
