Postby pROvAK » 15 Jan 2012, 23:57

Alright. This is my Showcase. It's Been Cleaned, Fixed, And the works, and just needs a review. It is a small interior house, nothing extravagant, just a couple hours work. {edit} And Now it really is cleaned.

A quick review;

The file is very dirty; remove all entries except the cell you made and custom objects with TESAME or MEE.

Lighting: You haven't set any light settings.
IllegalToSleepHere: checked, OK
Gridsnap: not used, the shell has holes now.
Cluttering: too few, should be well over 100 objects in this size int.
Stylemixing: Don't use de_p or de_r furniture and tapestries in an com interior. There is a com furniture/tapestry set use that.

Bleeders/Floaters: You have many objects bleeding and or floating, like furn_log_04 bleeds in wall, in floor and in one another as well as in the chimney. Also use a mix of logs to make it more interesting.
De_P_Chest_02_Books is resting half on half off a rug. Place it so that it either rests on floor, or on rug.
Books are bleeding through the paper, don't place anything else but something small like ingredients on top.

Don't use the lightbulbs except for blue glow on mushrooms in interiors.

Frankly you will need to start using gridsnap for the building tiles, place every object so that it fits (no bleeding or floating) by using the "f" key to lower any object flat to the surface below, adjust lighting settings, use the com tileset, furniture and tapestries. Also clutter it more lets say 30-40%. And clean it well before you upload it.

If you have any questions on how to accomplish this feel free to ask.

Happy Modding,

Praedator

pROvAK, I believe you edited your showcase but you did not post. We will not know you change something if you don't post a new message as edits don't show up. That being said, I think this file needs a new review.

The file hasn't changed I think. Or at least everything Praedator pointed out is there and then some.

It says the post was edited after the review, interesting.

It may be cleaner but nothing changed in the actual interior.
