Anvil Oblivion People

Postby TerrifyingDaedricFoe » 04 Apr 2012, 17:00

Anvil People from Oblivion
These are all of the people who are in Anvil in Oblivion. I’ve included their race, gender, class and level, as well as a brief description. Some people I think should not be in Anvil in P:C, which I have indicated. Obviously everything here is up for debate. I'll try to get around to doing the other cities and settlements of Oblivion at some point.

Castle
Countess Millona Umbranox
Female Imperial
Level 15 Noble
The Countess of Anvil (obviously :P). INCLUDE

Baeralorn
Male Bosmer
Level 20 Necromancer
As mentioned here I’m unsure about where Baeralorn should be in P:C.

Beatrice Gene
Female Breton
Level 4 Commoner
Servant. INCLUDE

Colin Stedrine
Male Breton
Level 4 Commoner
Servant. INCLUDE

Dairhill
Female Bosmer
Level 10 Noble
Personal Steward to the Countess. INCLUDE

Orrin
Male Redguard
Level 15 Smith
Smith. Thieves Guild member (see here)

Guards
Langley (needs a surname)
Male Imperial
Level PC+10 Guard
Lazy Watch Captain. Is replaced in Oblivion, so should probably be INCLUDED – Anvil wouldn’t have three different Watch Captains in less than ten years.

General Silgor Bradus
Male Imperial
A 'commander in the field'. Often out on patrol along the Valenwood border.
INCLUDE

Gogan
Male Redguard
Level PC+5 Warrior
Undercover guardsman. INCLUDE

Maelona
Female Redguard
Level PC+3 Commoner
Undercover guardsman. INCLUDE

Fighter’s Guild
See (here)

Mage’s Guild
See (here)

Chapel of Dibella
Dumania Jirich
Female Imperial
Level 4 Priest
Primate. INCLUDE

Laralthir
Female Bosmer
Level 4 Healer
Healer. INCLUDE

Trevaia
Female Redguard
Level 4 Priest
Priest. INCLUDE

The following two people appear in the Chapel after you complete Knights of the Nine. They have to come from somewhere – perhaps there could be some sort of Convent to Dibella in Cyrodiil? Alternatively, they could be from some chapel in Hammerfell / Skyrim etc.

Amragor
Male Bosmer
Level 4 Healer
Healer.

Selene Duronia
Female Imperial
Level 4 Priest
Priest.

The Count’s Arms
Wilbur
Male Redguard
Level 5 Publican
Publican. Wine Expert. INCLUDE

The Flowing Bowl
Caenlorn
Male Bosmer
Level 4 Commoner
INCLUDE

Maenlorn
Male Bosmer
Level 5 Trader (Publican surely?)
INCLUDE

The Fo’c’sle
Mirabelle Monet
Female Breton
Level 10 Agent
INCLUDE

Lelles’ Quality Merchandise
Norbert Lelles
Male Breton
Level 6 Trader
INCLUDE

The following three people are the thieves from the FG quest in Oblivion. All of them have worked for Lelles at some point in the past. I suggest that we can have Aenvir working in the shop, if we want. The other two we could have working somewhere else, unemployed or not in Anvil at all.

Aenvir
Male Bosmer
Level PC+1 Hunter
INCLUDE

Dranas Lerano
Male Dunmer
Level PC+1 Rogue
Possibly

Storn the Burly
Male Nord
Level PC+1 Rogue
Possibly

Morvayn’s Peacemakers
Varel Morvayn
Male Dunmer
Level 10 Smith
INCLUDE

Enilroth
Male Bosmer
Level 5 Smith
Is Morvayn’s apprentice in Oblivion. Whilst apprenticeships traditionally lasted for seven years, I don’t think Enilroth should be in Anvil in P:C. He could live in one of the other cities / towns in Cyrodiil or could be in Valenwood.

Sea Tub Clarabella
Captain Baszone Patneim
Male Imperial
Level PC+2 Pirate
I would like to have Patneim as the captain of a legitimate vessel. He could be the captain of one of the ships currently docked at Stirk.

First Mate Filch
Male Breton
Level PC+2 Pirate
Filch strikes me as a relatively new sailor. He could be a pauper / commoner living in Anvil or Leyawiin.

Dahlia Rackham
Female Redguard
Level 15 Bookseller
Dahlia could be a legitimate bookseller in Anvil who only later turns to a life of crime on the high seas.

The Serpent’s Wake
This ship could be anywhere in P:C. I would just ignore it.

Sailors
These are all of the sailors on shore-leave in Anvil in Oblivion. We can put them anywhere we want, or just ignore them.

Anguilon
Male Bosmer
Level PC+1 Pirate

Didier Aumilie
Male Breton
Level 4 Commoner
Ship’s Clerk

Hauls-Rope-Faster
Male Argonian
Level 10 Pirate
Advanced Athletics Trainer

Heinrich Oaken-Hull
Male Nord
Level PC+1 Pirate
If we do include Heinrich then I’d suggest not having him married to Hasathil (his Bosmer wife in Oblivion) yet. Loads of people talk about their relationship, which suggests it happened fairly recently.

Isolde
Female Redguard
Level PC Pirate

Krognak gro-Brok
Male Orc
Level PC+1 Pirate

S’shani
Male Khajiit
Level 4 Savant
In Oblivion he is a retired ship’s captain. In P:C he could be the captain of one of the ships in the harbour.

Thurindil
Male Bosmer
Level PC+1 Pirate

Timothee LaRouche
Male Breton
Level PC+1 Pirate
At one point sailed on a ship called the Black Dog.

Sirens
I get the impression that the Sirens in Oblivion were not native to Anvil, which is why they were able to get away with it for so long. We can put them anywhere we like.

Faustina Cartia
Female Imperial
Level PC Spellsword

Signy Home-Wrecker
Female Nord
Level PC-2 Thief
Signy could have a different title in P:C.

Tsarrina
Female Khajiit
Level PC-3 Thief

Commoners
Arvena Thelas
Female Dunmer
Level PC+1 Commoner
INCLUDE

Astia Inventius
Female Imperial
Level 4 Commoner
INCLUDE

Gorgo gro-Shura
Male Orc
Level 2 Pauper
A not very successful ‘soldier of fortune’. I’m not too fussed about where we put Gorgo.

Hasathil
Female Bosmer
Level 4 Commoner
As I said for Heinrich Oaken-Hull, I don’t think she should be married yet. INCLUDE

Jesan Sextius
Male Imperial
Level 4 Commoner
Singer-songwriter. Works at the Count’s Arms in Oblivion. INCLUDE

Newheim the Portly
Male Nord
Level PC-5 Barbarian
Harbour Master. INCLUDE

Pinarus Inventius
Male Imperial
Level 20 Hunter
Married to Astia. Advanced Marksman Trainer. INCLUDE

Quill-Weave
Female Argonian
Level 5 Acrobat
Author (her books don’t exist in Oblivion so we could write them). I think Quill-Weave has only recently moved to Anvil in Oblivion, or else she would have tried to kill the rats sooner. She has a friend in Chorral she visits every month, so she could live there in P:C.

Rusia Bradus
Female Imperial
Level 18 Noble
Master Athletics Trainer. Married to General Silgor Bradus. INCLUDE

Ulfgar Fog-Eye
Male Nord
Level 6 Commoner
Light-house keeper. INCLUDE

Velwyn Benirus
Male Imperial
Level PC Scout
I don’t know where Velwyn is in P:C, but it’s definitely not Anvil.

Wilhelm the Worm
Male Nord
Level 2 Pauper
Warehouse Watchman. INCLUDE

Beggars
We could portray the Oblivion beggars before their collapse into homelessness. Alternatively...

Imus the Dull
Male Imperial
Level 2 Commoner
INCLUDE

Penniless Olvus
Male Imperial
Level 2 Commoner
INCLUDE

I wouldn't worry about Enilroth, either. While apprenticeships lasted seven years, we have no idea how long he has been there. He could have gotten there only three years ago. Could have gotten there the day after the PC left Anvil for good. Or just an hour after. His absence won't be a huge deal IMO. :)

I agree on Quill-Weave. Chorrol sounds good and reasonable. No one has a friend way out in Chorrol without being there for a long time.

The rest are also agreeable. Great job sorting this list out! ;)
Let me guess, someone stole your CS?

I don't think the Sirens should be there, or at least not as a group. I doubt they'd have got away with their scam for 5-6 years. It would make more sense if they'd arrived recently from elsewhere in Oblivion - perhaps we could imply that they travel around from place to place, plying their 'trade' until the locals get wise to them?

Sounds good to me.

Having them somewhere else is fine.

I haven't played much Oblivion, but is the countesses husband the gray fox? Had he vanished in the time of morrowind? Or was he still the count?

Yes to the first question, I'm unsure on the timeline though.

It was about a decade before Oblivion, so in Morrowind he is the Gray Fox.
