Cyrodiil Sound Files

Postby Leon » 28 Jun 2012, 15:19

Here, I just made some weather sounds for the Stirk Region, since there aren't any wind, bird and tree sounds....

Do we need custom sounds for the doors in Stirk?

Could be longer so less repetativeness could occur, but otherwise very good.
Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

No, the doors are still made of wood. I see no reason to change that. Environment sounds could be nice.

The vanilla winds, trees sounds are 4 seconds each, while these are 8 seconds each. I could make some more sounds if that is what you meant.

I just meant longer playing sounds, so when things get repeated, its not as noticable. Up to you though, its already pretty good.

Hey Leon,

will you possibly make some environmental sounds for ShotN aswell at some point? Bold to ask this but it's so that we've got like no sounds for anything and no capable person to make them over there.

The only other sense that is participated in experiencing the gameworld is the aural sense and sounds are really the other half of sensing an environment.

I hope you people don't mind me asking right here. I trust that the ties of our both projects are big enough to tolerate this.

Oh no you didnt! Just kiddin. I have not problem with you trying to get Leon to make some sounds over there. I can't say he will but I dont mind the asking at all. I like colaboration between the provinces. Makes them feel like they belong better when you can see shared elements in each.

Or lots of TR resources. TR wants to maybe use the ayleid ruins to replace the fake one they have hidden away and SHotN has some PC items as well. That is as it should be. Makes no sense not to use one anothers resources when we build in the same world, just different regions. Having no cross-over would be quite odd.

Hidden deep under the Velothi Mountains. It supposed to be in a tunnel long enough to reach into Cyrodiil.

Cool. We could built an above ground bit, and in the eventual P:C & TR compatability mod link them together to make a smugglers' route.
