Ald-Moth's quick art.

Postby Ald_Moth » 09 Apr 2013, 15:05

Thought hey, why not join a modding project too, so here are some stuff I drew of the Cyrodiils quite recently.

Colovian
Based his and the legionary's appearance below on the art assets from the game Redguard.

Priest of the Cult of Bull's Breath from northern Nibenay.
A priest of an old Nibenese cult that also had it's roots in the men-of-'kreth. Dedicated to Morihaus.

Legionary from late 1st to 2nd Era

Sancre Tor
... Or any kind of Akaviri-Nibenese fort. Really, just felt like drawing some weird Thai-Roman fort with minarets.

Sorry if it's a little messy and blurry, I did these pretty quickly.

Honestly not crazy about the Colovian, but aside from that these are quite nice. I especially like the Bull's Breath cultist.

Welcome! :)

That Sancre Tor drawing caught my eye. I imagine something like that could also work well as the home of a nibenean nobleman.

Seems nice, but strikes me as far too asian looking. Are we going with Oblivions ruined one?
Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

That bull priest IS really cool. Also, does this not count as a showcase?

I'd look at the others, but dial-up can't handle Imgur. Now to the other Ald.

The nibenese stuff should be asian looking as it is either akaviri inspired or adapted from their stuff directly

I kinda agree with Tarius. It's pretty consistent with official concept art of Cyrodiil (Cyrodiil Under Siege), but I think it needs a little work to feel more like an Imperial structure (with Akaviri inspiration) rather than a purely Akaviri structure.

I apologize for not having done... well anything substantial really.
Priest of Bat's
Eye and Mouth

Nibenese noblewoman
Merchant
Colours are quick and dirty. I mostly wanted to convey the the gaudy colours and the appropriate mass of the common robes. Note the slightly moth shaped headdress

Minor architectural sketches
Inspired by the architecture of Cyrodiil as seen in TESO, which I do kind of like.
