Clothing References

Postby Lady Nerevar » 19 Aug 2011, 21:43

Not sure if this is the place. The forums are a bit confusing, tbh.

A bunch of clothing references from my archives. The Niben is more Indian and south-east Asian, while Colovia is more Scandinavian and eastern European.

I'll sort out some proper threads for this sort of stuff. Right now we're tits over arse when it comes to knowing where to post what.

Hmm, I have interacted with alot of people from the UK(including one who was very adamant that people not consider Britain as part of the UK) and I have never seen that statement used. However, given that most people from the US would likely say head over heels, mabe he is.

So, how many new kinds of clothing are going to appear here?

TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

I'm english, it's the kind of thing you'd hear in a pub, and more importantly, he said 'arse'.
And that adamant guy sounds like an idiot. Tell him I said that. That he's an idiot.

I've changed the name of the forum for a little more clarity.

If anyone's got any problems with the way the forums are set up, please bring them up (preferably in the private discussion forum). I put quite a bit of work into getting the forums organized the way they are and I think that for the most part it works okay and is fairly well-organized.

I'm Mancunian but I live in Norway and have done for a few years now. I'm a Northerner but I've lived all over. From London and as far south as Helston in Cornwall and lots of places in between. I've even lived in Jersey (the original one - off the coast of France).

Haaa, knew it.

Just a heads up, I'll probably be nicking this one for S:HOTN's haafingar nobles soonish.
I'll give you another heads up if I actually do make it.

I'm not just coming over here and just stealing ideas btw, she did actually post this months ago on our forums, and this was just one of my favourites.
If I'm fond of the result you can use it too.

I think using stuff between regions would help make it feel more integrated.

No idea about the clothing, but here is her faces archive. I don't think Lady N still visits the officials much. You'll have more luck with her tumblr, I think.

At some point in the past I must have deleted that folder to make room in my dropbox. I don't really remember what was in it, but I took the liberty of putting together two new folders for Colovia and the Niben.
