I love Mir Corrup, It'd fit into a diamond too which could be something we could bear in mind when it comes to thread the city crests together.

I mentioned to SamirA in a PM that I've been playing around with another Stirk crest for a while and promised I'd post it to get some feedback. Here seems like the best place to do that so here it is:

It's a diving bird (explaining why it's pointing downward). I like the idea of it being fully aquatic.

I like it - real-life city crests tend to be a bit more symbolic than the one we have at present. Number 7 is my favourite.

I like 3 the best. What are the VII and the III for?

What do the letters and the roman numerals stand for?

I like 7 the most, but I prefer the bird pointing downward.

It looks like 7 does have the best look to it. 3 looks alright too but the numbers feel distracting. I'm sure they're supposed to mean something (Uriel Septim VII, perhaps?) but since their meaning isn't readily apparent, well that's part of the reason they're distracting.

That's not to say they should necessarily be removed entirely from the design, just that they probably shouldn't be as prominent if they're included at all. To sum it up they're distracting both because I cannot figure out what they mean and because they're prominently displayed. So the two possible solutions would be to either make the numbers less prominent or their meaning more obvious.

I'm trying to figure out what IP and RS stand for also. Imperial Power and Redguard Steel? If I'm right what do I win? :sheo:

Imperial Provincial Reserve Stirk is what I pulled out of my :arse:

The VI and III stand for: pretty roman numerals, nothing more to it than that...unless you want a meaning to it. Why do we need to explain it anyway? the Mystery adds intrigue.

I agree with Osidian. 7 is the best if it had the bird facing downward.

I'm glad the concensus is with the downward facing bird as I'd already made this:

Taken from this city guard concept:

The idea was to use this cuirass model for all the city guards and tweak the coloured part under the leather and emblem on the chest for each city - adding variation but still keeping consistency as opposed to oblivions multicoloured city guards. Messy.

Not bad. I was thinking that maybe it would be good if the leather was slightly(nothing like Oblivion though) different colored because each city would have its own unique source, but considering that many things would likely be standardized, maybe not.
Tarius: I have now conquered the galaxy twice and am working on a third. Once thats out of me, I will be back to work.
TDF: Which game is that(I assume its a game and not real life)
The Khan: If it was real life, we would know about it. And I dont think he means this Galaxy.
Tarius: Yes, I really lead a secret double life where I am a galactic overlord.

Those cuirasses look really good. Different-coloured leather for each city might be nice, but OTOH, I quite like having that consistency between them.

I assume there will be female versions as well?

I'll get these two posted on the forums soon. Glad you all seem to like them too. As for a female version, it slipped my mind. I'm sure we can tweak the chest and pull in the waist a bit on that model though if need be.

Yeah, we will need a female version, but other than that omission I really like these.
