The name Pelinal means "glorious knight". It is a corruption of Pelin-El, which means "the Star-Made Knight". He was referred to in many different ways during the Alessian Rebellion, and was known as Pelinal Insurgent, Pelinal the Bloody, Pelinal the Blamer and Pelinal the Third...

What is the origin of that name? As in, is it supposed to be imperial etc.

Re: Cheydinhal ideas thread

With Cheydenhal, can we keep the architectural style from Oblivion? I quite like that one. If we can get the models anyway.

Re: Stirk Interior Claim PC_i1-17 [Tes96]

Yes, that and the little beams from the walls were removed, but those don't affect any caspering issues. In that case, Weren't they pieced together and tested before officially added to the main data? no they werent, because they were a retex job. I apoligize, but we have been undermanned in the mo...

Re: Gold Coast Interior Claim PC_i2-6 [TrainingDummy]

I would say that iron ore shouldnt really have any lighting, its iron, its not magic. As for lantern lighting, thats a different story.

Re: Gold Coast Interiors

I think for now we are fine. However, this stuff needs to be confined to the GC. New tiles sets will be needed though once things outside the GC start getting done.

Re: PC_Col_C_Pants_W1_01-04 [Reviewing]

Worsas wrote:I always save icons as DXT3. I believe I read somewhere that this is how it is usually done. DXT1 has hard alpha edges, as you probably know, which may have a bad impact on a small icon. Regarding the filesize it does not matter eitherway.

DXT3 or DXT5 are both fine, but DXT5 has more quality.

Re: Armor styles of Cyrodiil

Yeah, I'm fine with including some horns in a primitive Cyro-nordic armor, but they should not point straight up. Having things be weird and intriguing, doesn't mean going overly large and fantastic on everything. This is one situation that actually looks pretty generic fantasy rather than TES. Sur...

Re: Colovian Tomb - Clutter

Well, if it has to have horns, they should be pointing downward. I would hate to walk around and keep bumping into stuff with them.

Worsas wrote:When they get reduced in geometry it should happen selectively and not by some auto-reducing that affects the complete mesh. Otherwise we will have tiling gaps again. I wished there was a reduce-brush in my blender. Not sure how to reasonably do this otherwise.

These are my thoughts as well.
