Re: A Comprehensive Guide to Cyrodiilic Lore for use in P:C

You misread that Tarius, perhaps I could have structured that sentence better. What it is saying is that the NPC which we create who is the second in command behind the Gray Fox, will retire once the player reaches his rank. We aren't allowing the player to reach the top of the thieves guild, just ...

Re: A Comprehensive Guide to Cyrodiilic Lore for use in P:C

Some time after the last Nerevarine's deed in the island of Solstheim, both the Nerevarine and Lord Vivec disappears and Morrowind is ruled solely by King Helseth. Some says that Vivec has departed to Aetherius joining the ancestors, while the Nerevarine is rumored leaving Tamriel in an expedition ...

Re: Modeling: Imperial Wayshrine - PROMOTED

I threw those all out pretty much and began to rebuild them. The meshes werent the best, they all were assigned one texture, and I hadnt bothered to do the uv maps. So I just redid them with all of those things done. Yep main reason I asked, I found em and took a look, and then saw them lacking. Sp...

Re: Modeling: Imperial Wayshrine

I've checked your model out. The textures are a lot better than what I had thought they were when I quick peaked at the screenshots. A few could still use improvement though. Overall I thought the use of the colors was magnificent. wyshrn_fndtn-too colorful. The only texture that I felt was too vib...

Modeling: Imperial Wayshrine - [PROMOTED]

Figured I would go ahead and do this even though I may not start anything else immediately, I also figured that you guys could require a standardized type title for easily seeing what kind it is, in this case, its for modeling. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=8975 Any other mod...

Re: Heightmap, Progress, Ideas and Suggestions

Today im just messing about with getting the vertical scale right so that the maximum height (i.e. white) is as close to 32000 game units as possible. At the moment its at 31912, which in my opinion is close enough, plus, any higher and you just fall trhough the land, which isnt ideal. Now ive got ...

Re: Imperial Crypt(for SamirA)

And also, because I am OC about saving things, most of the raw stuff I used to make the textures and even some steps in making them have been saved in case they are needed for later.(I probably generated like 200mb worth of stuff here) I do this for lots of stuff actually, including the wayshrine wh...

Re: Imperial Crypt(for SamirA)

So today, I decided to figure out how the heck I use more then nifscope for editing .nif files as the door I mentioned earlier would have been a real pain to edit in nifscope. Well of course I had to take that further and now I know how to make basic models for MW, so I made a test one to make sure ...

Re: Imperial Crypt(for SamirA)

Ok, most of the work is done. I am satisfied with most of the textures and all but 1 or 2 meshes. Heres a couple screens showing before and after. http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/7537/stepscompared.jpg Redid the steps mesh and the textures, before, the steps looked much too rough, now they look lik...

Re: Imperial Crypt(for SamirA)

Five meshes left to edit and that should be all for meshes. I will then go back and do another rock texture for the graves, the one I already made I have decided is good, but doesnt really fit the grave style. I will show a couple screen shots once the meshes are done particularly one that shows bef...

Re: Imperial Crypt(for SamirA)

Ah I can post again. Progress continues on the imperial crypt meshes. Cant get away with just doing the floor unfortunatly, walls need major adjusting of the UV coords as well. Been through 11 of the meshes so far and have found they either dont need fixing or have fixed them. Havent looked at all t...

Re: Imperial Crypt(for SamirA)

Nope, not creating any new meshes only editing current ones. Thought about making more tomb stones though and while I have the ability to make meshes, I have never made any for MW.
If I get around to making a showcase, it will be for interiors or exteriors. (or mabe both just to prove I can hah)

Imperial Crypt(for SamirA)

Ok, here is an image from newly textured crypt.(I will keep this short, already lost a bunch of typing by accident and dont feel like typing it all out again) http://img218.imageshack.us/f/crypt.jpg/ Only the hall mesh I have fixed the UV coords on so far is the 3 way at the end.(also did doors and ...
