Re: Ald-Ma' Cyrod's Thingies

Those guys have a rather shaggy, but fascinating redguard feeling about them. I must say I love the atmosphere in that drawing but I don't know right away how to carry it over to our practical game world. I can say that that body cloth on the left guy is not entirely easy to implement, if the guy is...

Re: Cartography

@Griff: you need to browse his photobucket gallery and download it from there. It would be cool to create a similar map for the Skyrim mod based on the location map French Ninja made, but expanding on it with regions, more refined locations, etc. Anyway, this map is looking very sensible to me so fa...

Re: PC_Col_U_Shirt_W1_01-02 [Reviewing]

My one tiny nitpick is that bit of clipping between the scarf and the sash, otherwise phenomenal work. It doesn't seem to happen on the npcs, only on this example pose I created. I performed a slight tweak on the female version, though, where the sash previously disappeared into the insde of the sh...

Re: PC_B_Imp_Nord_?[Reviewing]

A few of the women haircuts looked a tad too modern to me, but they are all in PC_Data now regardless. I also performed some polygon-reduction on the most-geometry-heavy ones.

Re: Imperial Cult Robes and Armor

Armor simply occupies the chest part and your robe must leave it free to expose the shoulders of the npc. There is nothing you can do about this. Either you discard this robe for incompatibility with armors or we just ignore it and try to avoid any combination with armors. Actually there are compati...

Re: PC_Col_U_Shirt_W1_01-02 [Worsas]

It was looking very modern so far. I have worked a bit more on the texture and I think these two look fitting enough now:

Re: City Size Discussion

I would still like to add that I'm prepared to do all the shell creation for the interiors of Anvil. What I have in mind is not all that limiting and unfeasible. Have a shell without staircase and room division, only with according proportions, window- and door placement aswell as a northmarker and ...

Re: City Size Discussion

But I think we've got to agree that we need to do something, be it reducing the size of the city or having us a part of the interiorizing work saved. Something needs to be done. And I would rather have latter. Apart from that I believe that shell creation will mostly be a copypaste-act for 60% of th...

Re: City Size Discussion

Much of this city size argument just seems like pissing contest. TR has huge cities so ours must be larger! or something. For me it is no contest at all, only world design. Stirk would be left as an anomaly, but Anvil must be reduced in size. Meh. If we already mess around with our town scales, why...

Re: City Size Discussion

I had another idea today that might help: How about we say that an exterior modder has to deliver a plugin with a complete shell+northmarker for each house he/she places in the gameworld? Caves, Castles and dungeons would be excluded from this rule, obviously. That way we'd remove the step of having...

Re: Skyrim and Cyrodiil

Sasquatsch, your numbers would mean heavy cutdowns on basically finished cities like Karthwasten and Stirk. And I'm not sure if our next releases with accordingly decreased cities would really blow anyones socks off, after all that waittime. In case of SHOTN all further settlements up to Haafingar w...

Demanding? Where?

This shirt is the first mesh where I made practical use of a sculpting programm in addition to blender. So I'm even still learning something.
