No, that texture is not at all what I had in mind and I was going to do it myself anyway. I have already begun collecting source material to do it. I was not simply going to add blueish tint to the rust texture. It will be entirely new and different looking.

I really do like those handles.

As for that round door, the framing at the top at least needs to pop out, in otherwords, not flat.Might as well put a raised frame all the way around.

Ok, I like the square one. That door frame/threshold needs fixing because it has squashed textures though.

I have never seen such a thing either. Could work, but its definitly something people would notice.
For long snapping rugs though, the only location of any length should be in castles. The corner pieces as well should only be in castle or maybe extremely rich manors.

Doesn't mean we should go overboard with it. I agree with Tarius that the stereotypical Japanese curved roofs should be used sparingly - I would say for specifically Tsaesci installations such as Cloud Ruler Temple - and we should play up the unique style of the Nibenese themselves.
