Re: Saint_Jiub's Art Thread

I kinda ran out of space on either side of the page so it's all more cramped than i would have liked, but ideally what I was thinking was that we would still have rows of "pews" (sofas or divans) in front of the altar for sermons, and then the couches, tables and the rest further off to ei...

Re: City Size Discussion

I don't think anyone's saying that's an unreasonable limitation to set, moving forward. Sasquatch's assertion that we need to restructure Stirk and/or Anvil is, and always has been, the problem. 10-15 of the interiors for Anvil are going to be related to its unique maritime nature; warehouses, naval...

Re: City Size Discussion

As others have explained (over and over), not every city is going to be an Anvil or even a Stirk (which as the only city on a fairly sizable island and westernmost outpost of Imperial civilization, is understandably on the larger side of things. The vast majority of towns and villages will be more o...

Re: Chapel Windows Redux

A little more work to do finishing up the exterior textures (basically just flipped and darkened) and getting them in-game, but here's the finished look for the Divines: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ukfxyttz9uyu ... l.png?dl=0

I'm rethinking the Reman one, stay tuned.

Re: PC_Col_U_Shirt_W1_01-02 [Worsas]

Heh, I guess I just got self-conscious rereading my post. You've already got 40 million things to do, and it felt like I was pressuring you to drop your other tasks and work on this instead.

Nevermind

Re: City Size Discussion

To be perfectly honest, we really don't need more than 10-20 unique interiors anyhow for the general houses/shops, as far as tileset and furniture is concerned. As I believe has been proposed before, we could easily build a handful of template interiors and then just have our interior modders focus ...

Re: Skyrim and Cyrodiil

I fully support either merging the two projects or uniting them under the Province: Tamriel umbrella. Like Infragris, my interest is primarily with Cyrodiil, but it would be fun to help with lore/art development over there too. Honestly Worsas, you've definitely taken too much on yourself even just ...

Re: PC_B_Imp_Nord_?[Reviewing]

? Weird, I could have sworn I uploaded this already. Sorry about that! https://www.dropbox.com/s/hkyv9i6pt4vni ... s.zip?dl=0

This has the fix for those Illy hairs, as well as removing the dependency on Westly's mod (all hair textures have been renamed to pc_b_col_ format).

Re: Chapel Windows Redux

Thanks Infragris, I really appreciate that :) (Here's the image he's talking about, if anyone's curious: http://33.media.tumblr.com/5539afd4261afa973d468973ee83f2c3/tumblr_ndv4demPWH1su0ukho1_1280.png) Update on the windows themselves, I decided to start over on the textures again and I think I'm fi...

Re: Ethnicities - Cultural Diversity

Okay... so possibly some bad news here. It's looking like I backed up the DDS versions of the male heads, but not the PSDs. Still sorting through the files I brought over, but it's kinda looking like I'll either need to redo them or we'd have to deal with an extra layer of compression artifacts when...

Re: Generic Dialogue

Stirk Default Response (given by inhabitants of Stirk): Stirk is the name both of this town and of the island in the Abecean Sea on which it is located. The main industry is fishing, and the local orange-back slaughterfish are regarded as a real delicacy across much of western Tamriel. Savant Respo...

Re: Cartography

I based the county borders off of the Imperial roads- the notion that I had was that when the Empire consolidated these squabbling kingdoms and mercantile city-states into the current system of counties, they literally set the borders in stone to prevent future disputes. Wherever the borderline isn'...

Re: Cartography

I've put together a map of proposed political borders as well, based on Infragris's map, since Oblivion's counties were absurdly effusive and nondescript: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wzeteyxth9fq372/politicalmap.jpg?dl=0 The ducal seats, not indicated on the map itself, are Kvatch and Cheydinhal, and ...

Re: Chapel Windows Redux

Not sure if this is one we'll end up using, but since Varieties of Faith gives Reman equal billing with the Nine Divines, and we'll need a patron deity for Sancre Tor anyhow...

Re: Chapel Windows Redux

Cool, I think that's a good idea. I dunno who modeled them for me originally but I agree that some improvements could be made. So here's the first four for downloading: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xuj5fzq4k2c7yry/Chapel%20Windows%20Part%20I.zip?dl=0 Which includes Kynareth, Dibella, Stendarr and Talos...

Chapel Windows Redux

Decided to start from scratch on the chapel windows (again), as they were one of the best things about Oblivion, visually, and I want to get them right. So, here's the first two, started with Dibella and Kynareth again so they can be used for Stirk and Anvil while I develop the rest. https://www.dro...
